Bible Reading
"1 Samuel 14:48 — "He fought valiantly and defeated the Amalekites..." Philippians 3:10 — "I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.""
🌱 Introduction
How can I be an overcomer? The root of the Hebrew word, Natsach (נָצַח), implies permanently overcoming the enemy, it implies superior brilliance. This is well described in Psalm 108:13: "With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies."
💭 Reflection
Philippians 3:10 — "I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death."
The word for power in Greek is "Dunamis", which gives us the word "Dynamite". The power of the resurrection, the dynamite found in the death and resurrection of Christ, is powerful enough to demolish every myth, negative thought, and defeatist personality.
Romans 8:37 reminds us: "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." That power that raised Jesus from the dead two thousand years ago is available to transform your life's weaknesses into strengths.
📖 The Two Keys to Being an Overcomer
- The Power of the Resurrection (Philippians 3:10): Cancels your past, eliminates curses, and neutralizes failure.
- The Change of Personality (Romans 12:2): God doesn't just want you to win; He wants to transform you from a victim into an overcomer.
⚠️ Do Not Procrastinate
As Pastor Josué teaches: "Only one thing will prevent you from changing, and it's not the devil (he has already been defeated), nor is it your circumstances. It is Procrastination."
Why spend another night with the frogs? When Pharaoh had the opportunity to be set free immediately, he said: "TOMORROW." How many times do we do the same?
💡 Application
- Acknowledge the power: The same dynamite that resurrected Jesus is available to you today.
- Examine your personality: What is "typical of you" that needs to change?
- Do not procrastinate: Change comes in the process, but you must start TODAY.

Prayer of the day
"Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that I need Your power, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. I don't want to be like Saul, who, having victory in his hands, ended up defeated by poor decisions. Today I make the decision to stop procrastinating. Transform my personality, remove the defeatist spirit from me, and give me the fruit of Your Spirit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. In Christ, I am more than a conqueror. Amen."
