Bible Reading
"2 Corinthians 9:10 — 'Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed...'"
📖 Key Scripture
2 Corinthians 9:10 — "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness."
💡 Pastoral Reflection
In Hebrew, seed is Zerá, carrying genetic capacity for multiplication, while bread is Léjem for daily food. Eating your seed destroys your future harvest. Joseph preserved seed capital in Egypt, saving nations from famine. Honor God with your firstfruits, prepare your field before seeking luxury, and trust the Lord of the harvest!
Prayer of the day
"Lord, grant me spiritual wisdom to distinguish between bread and seed. Forgive my past impatience and teach me to sow with faith and generous devotion. In Jesus' name, Amen."
