Living Always Secure in an Insecure World
Bible Reading
"Psalms 15:5 — 'He who does these things will never be shaken.'"
The Original Design
God has always sought to live with humanity. We were created with a divine design: a space in our heart that only He can occupy. However, when man chooses to ignore God, that space turns into a painful void.
The Origin of Our Insecurity
Those days when you feel bored, depressed, or anxious for no apparent reason cannot be fixed with a trip, a purchase, or a new relationship. That is the alarm of your soul telling you it's empty of His presence. Spiritual independence is a trap that makes us vulnerable to life's crises.
The Promise of Security
Psalm 15 gives us a clear roadmap: he who walks with integrity and works righteousness will dwell in God's holy hill. And it culminates with an unbreakable promise: "he who does these things will never be shaken". Depending entirely on God does not take away your freedom, it grants you the only real security that exists in this world.
Prayer of the day
"Lord, I recognize that many times I have tried to fill my void with temporary things. Today I choose to depend entirely on You. Fill my heart with Your presence and help me walk in integrity to live always secure under Your shadow. In Jesus' name, Amen."
