Your True Legacy Isn't Your Money, It's Your Marriage
Bible Reading
"Song of Solomon 8:6 — 'Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm...'"
The Unbreakable Seal
Many people believe that leaving a legacy is all about leaving behind inheritances, titles, or properties. However, a person's true legacy is their marriage. Marriage isn't just a human contract that can be broken when hardships arrive; it is a spiritual seal of exclusivity and belonging. When couples don't know how to handle pressure, pride scratches and cracks that seal.
The Fire that Restores
For a marriage to endure, it needs the fire that God Himself ignites. This fire is not destructive; rather, it serves to fight, conquer, and achieve goals together. Failures, problems, and sicknesses will inevitably come—they are the 'many waters and floods' mentioned in Song of Solomon 8:7. But a home shielded by God's love rebuilds through the storm. Maintain exclusivity in your home and do not allow anyone to permeate it.
Prayer of the day
"Lord, place a wall of fire around my marriage. Help us keep our love alive and make time for one another. Remove all pride from us, and help us understand that our home is the greatest treasure and the most valuable legacy we will leave to the next generation. Amen."
