🎯 Secrets for a Successful Year II
Bible Reading
"Deuteronomy 11:12 — 'A land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.'"
🌱 Introduction
How rich and abundant is the word of God. When I sit down to think about what word I have to give, I realize how easy everything would be if we only did step-by-step what God says. How well things would go for us if our minds were open to God!
We spend our time thinking, brainstorming, and planning how we will make this 2026 a different year. But if we only listened to the voice of God, many things would become a reality.
1️⃣ God Cares For Your Land
Deuteronomy 11:12 — "A land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year."
The spiritual geography of your year: It is a land of mountains and valleys. Every day or month brings a mountain or will bring a valley. But the text says that it is God who cares for the land.
The 365 days are cared for by God. Each one demands something different. But those who trust in Him have no reason to live in fear.
2️⃣ You Must Work and Sow
Two verbs stand out in Deuteronomy 11:11: "cross over" and "possess". Both are action verbs, and faith is action. The new year demands activity and acquisition on our part. It is a year of conquests!
We serve the God of mountains AND valleys:
- We have to conquer the heights, but we also have to cross the valleys.
- God is the God of the hills and also of the valleys (1 Kings 20:28).
The Law of Sowing:
Deuteronomy 11:14 — "I will give the rain for your land in its season... that you may gather in your grain."
God will water your seed. The question is: What are you sowing? He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully (2 Corinthians 9:6).
3️⃣ Turn Away from Evil and Do Good
Do not expect that doing evil will bring good fruit. If you sow what displeases God, you will not have a successful year.
Psalm 37:3-4 — "Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart."
🏁 Conclusion: 6 Steps to Success
- Trust: God cares for your land all 365 days.
- Work: Faith is action, cross over and take your land.
- Seek God: On the mountain (prayer) He will provide.
- Sow well: What you sow, you reap.
- Turn away from evil: Do not expect good fruit from bad seed.
- Do good: And He will grant you the desires of your heart.
Prayer of the day
"Heavenly Father, today I place my year 2026 in Your hands. I trust that Your eyes are upon my life from the first to the last day. I decide to sow good seed, turn away from evil, and do good. I believe in Your promise: if I delight myself in You, You will give me the desires of my heart. In the name of Jesus, Amen."
