Bible Reading
"Romans 12:2 — 'And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.'"
Choose Faith Over Anxiety
Our mind has the ability to transform and regenerate, something science calls neuroplasticity and the Bible, in Romans 12:2, calls the "renewing of your mind". Anxiety and faith cannot occupy the same space at the same time in our brain; they compete for the same resources. If you focus on fear and "what ifs", your brain will drown in stress.
Designed to Worship
You were created with an internal system that yearns to worship something higher. If it is not God, your mind will worship money, pleasure, or worries. When you decide to put God on the throne of your thoughts, your brain experiences peace and calm. Today you have the opportunity to break the cycle of mental rumination and begin to meditate on His Word day and night.
Prayer of the day
"Lord, I surrender my anxious thoughts to You. Help me to renew my mind every day through Your Word. Teach me to worship only You to find peace. Amen."
