⚡ Protect Your Blessing: Don't Be Like Esau - Devotional Express
Bible Reading
"Hebrews 12:16 — 'See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.'"
When the Holy is No Longer a Blessing
Physical and emotional fatigue can be the worst enemy of our faith. Esau didn't lose his blessing in a great spiritual battle, but in a moment of exhaustion and hunger. When we are tired, we tend to despise what God has given us and look for quick relief.
The Trap of Exhaustion
How many times have you stopped praying, reading the Bible, or serving God simply because you were 'too tired'? The secular world squeezes us, and if we are not careful, we end up handing over our 'birthright' (our time with God and our calling) for a bowl of stew (a little more sleep, a TV series, or extra work).
Lift Up Your Drooping Hands
If you feel that fatigue is distancing you from God, it is time to readjust your load. Don't let routine turn you into a 'profane' person who doesn't value the sacred. Seek strength in the Lord today.
Prayer of the day
"Lord, strengthen my drooping hands. Help me not to despise the privilege of serving You and to always value my spiritual blessing. Let my fatigue not take away my calling. Amen."
