God does not define you by your circumstances, but by your design. Gideon saw himself as the least in his family; God saw him as the deliverer of a nation.
2. The Excuse Vs. The Promise
The victim always has an excuse ("Why has all this happened to us?"). The conqueror has a promise ("I will be with you").
