Bible Reading
"Psalm 92:10 — 'But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; you have poured over me fresh oil.'"
📖 Key Verse
Psalm 92:10 — "But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; you have poured over me fresh oil."
💭 Express Reflection (3 min)
In biblical culture, fresh oil (shemen yitzhar in Hebrew) meant freshly pressed, pure oil of the highest quality. It wasn't old or stored oil — it was God's newest provision.
David used a powerful metaphor: the wild ox has fat in its hump that gives it incredible energy reserves, and its horn was the vessel used to anoint kings. You are not just anyone — you are anointed with fresh oil.
Your head is where your thoughts, decisions, and will reside. You need the Spirit to think in the Spirit. When was the last time you received fresh oil?
