💭 Reflection

During life we find things that steal our peace and damage us emotionally and physically. Today let's talk about a complex issue: the people who absorb all your energy, those who someone called "unbearable people". Do you have that kind of people in your life and wonder what to do with them?

There are complex relationships that we would like to erase, but we simply cannot. Maybe it is a relative, a neighbor, or someone who has hurt you deeply. However, what does God teach us about this? Let's look at the example of David, called "a man after my own heart".

1. Learning to Live with Difficult People

David was a different man, with a character that emerged from humility. He managed to transform the most difficult people. Remember that in the cave of Adullam (1 Sam 22:1-2), God brought him all the afflicted, indebted, and bitter in spirit, and David was made their chief.

David had to endure Saul, who persecuted him unjustly. Despite the attacks, David never sought revenge. Tolerating does not mean enduring limitless abuse; perhaps distance is necessary, but love and respect must always prevail. David had the opportunity to kill Saul in the cave, but chose not to (1 Sam 24:3-4).

In Conclusion

It is important to remember how God has endured us. Despite our failures, He loved us, tolerated us, and saved us. If God's character is in you, you will learn to understand those complex people. Do not be overcome; pray for them and thank God because, despite everything, He loved you.

Oración del día

"Lord, I recognize that there are difficult people in my life who steal my peace. Teach me to see them with Your eyes, to love them and to tolerate them with the character of Christ. Just as You have supported and loved me, give me the grace to love those who hurt me. Amen."
