Bible Reading
"Romans 13:11 — 'And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.'"
📖 Main Scripture Reading
Romans 13:11-12 — "And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light."
💡 The Dilemma of Man and the Prophetic Clock
Millions read the Bible for comfort, yet avoid its eschatological warnings. Christ announced that history will culminate in righteous judgment. In the account of the Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16), He revealed conscious reality after death. Meanwhile, the eleven markers of Matthew 24—wars, earthquakes, betrayal, and coldness of heart—shout that the end of this age is near. Do not remain asleep. Draw near to God and anchor your eternity in Jesus Christ.
Prayer of the day
"Heavenly Father, forgive me for living distracted by temporal cares. Awaken my spirit, fill my heart with holy vigilance, and grant me grace to stand firm until the end. In Jesus' name, Amen."
