Nobody is born knowing how to honor or obey. It is all sown first in the family seedbed. Today, many parents say, "I don't want my child to suffer what I suffered," and take away all healthy duties. But by carrying every backpack for them, they delay character growth.
If parents neglect to instruct (Hebrew Musar: character training) and guide (Torah: teaching), social media algorithms and peers will gladly educate your children without a spiritual filter.
